Gloucester-based Lonesome Pines are Jon Hoyle (guitar, slide, vocals) and Pat Roberts (bass uke vocals). They mine a rich vein of country/blues storytelling from The Carter Family to the Handsome Family via Hank Williams, Richard Thompson, Gillian Welch and Chuck Berry. Their own songs are mostly about supermarkets and unsatisfactory relationships.

6pm Frankie Wesson
Singer-songwriter Frankie Wesson started writing songs and performing in her hometown of Abergavenny at the age of 16. Her cinematic songs draw inspiration from her personal experiences of bitter-sweet nostalgia, unrequited love, teenage angst and the complicated reality of growing up LGBT. Frankie’s original songs have been featured on BBC Radio 6 and BBC Introducing.
6.30pm Gordon Wood
A songwriter, singer and guitarist with a wealth of experience. Starting out as vocalist and bass player with various bands from the South West of England, he moved on to become part of the UK blues scene, performing alongside such artists as Dr Feelgood, Wilco Johnson, Norman Watt-Roy, Steve Gibbons, Geno Washington, Edwin Starr and Steve Marriot of the Small Faces. Nowadays his music has evolved to include a much wider spectrum of influences – country, rockabilly, Americana, folk and more.

Near side lane are a husband and wife duo that are two thirds of the popular “Rob Connolly Band” they do an eclectic mix of acoustic covers
4pm Max ft. Michelle & friends
For over 15 years Max has brought his original acoustic material to the Forest of Dean and nationwide. After a hiatus from performing he’s back to bring some soulful, honest vibes to you all. He will be joined on stage by some special guests including Michelle, from whom you can expect 90s R&B nostalgia infused with some tongue in cheek renditions to which you are invited to sing along too.

5pm Alaric Sheer Hardwick
Often called Ricky – I’m currently writing/ performing solo acoustic music & covers. I sing and play guitar (occasionally piano)!
