Dance Around the Festival

 Forest of Dean Morris – Saturday 3pm

The Forest of Dean Morris are a mixed side who perform traditional dances from the Cotswolds along with our own Forest dances. We perform regularly throughout the Forest of Dean, but travel more widely to attend festivals and events organised by other sides. We have also danced in Germany, France and Belgium. 

Aziza – Saturday 5.15pm

Aziza! of Cheltenham are an experienced troupe , formed over 14 years ago, and currently consisting of 9 dancers. Predominately Egyptian trained, the troupe also perform flamenco fusion, Belly rock, turkish, saidi as well as traditional cabaret. In addition to this they also perform medieval fusion under the name of Merrie Morgana. The troupe perform throughout the year at various events and details can be found on their FaceBook pages and the main website. They dance with a variety of props and confess to owning too many costumes!

Jive By The Wye – Sunday 2.45pm

Modern Jive Dance School

We are passionate about Jive Dancing and we’d love to share our this with you. Jive dancing is :- Fun, Exciting, Can keep you fit, Has a great social scene, Suitable for all ages 16 on.

We teach Modern Jive at two locations. Bishopswood Village Hall, Kerne Bridge near Ross-on-Wye on Sunday evening starting at 6:30pm and Llanfoist Village Hall near Abergavenny on Tuesday evening starting at 7:30pm. Our classes range from complete beginner to intermediate level.
