Crystal Balloon is an alternative rock band from Bristol/Chepstow UK.
They are Jack Stanton on lead vocals and guitar, Tim Burden on lead guitar and backing vocals, Eric Karvik on drums and Charlie Molyneux on bass.
Jack and Eric have been playing together for many years, since early teens at school together. Tim joined them in late 2015 and the current lineup came together in August 2016 after a long search for the right bass player.

Drawing on a range of influences, the resulting sound is a 21st century take on great Americana rock and roll combined with anthemic Brit Rock/Pop and heartfelt singer songwriter story telling.

Their debut EP out back in summer 2016, entitled ‘Hurricane’ was produced by George Shilling. (Bernard Butler, Frank Turner, Blur).
In May of this year they played a free gig at the Lantern, Bristol, which was recorded and will be used on their next EP, which will be out in the Autumn. They are also working with producer George Shilling on this.
