Coleford Music Festival

A message from the Coleford Music Festival Team.

After some incredible years of music and memories, it’s time to press pause, just for now.

Over the years we’ve been lucky enough to welcome an incredible line-up of artists and performers to our stages and are immensely proud to have championed so much homegrown talent.

But… we are taking a year out to reflect, regroup and reimagine the future of Coleford Music Festival after a tough couple of years of rising costs and significant funding challenges.

We are certainly not the only ones to be affected in this way, so we have decided to put as much energy as possible into raising funds and awareness this year in order to carry on for 2027 and beyond.

We will use this year to work with our local communities and partners to build a sustainable future for the festival and call upon the festival’s dedicated supporters to play an active role in shaping its future through membership programmes, holding fundraising events, sponsorship opportunities, putting forward your ideas for future festivals, or by becoming a volunteer.

Coleford Music Festival was due to take place in July 2026

However, it is hoped that a ticketed music event will take place towards the end of the summer to provide much-needed funds to keep the festival going, look out for details on our website www.colefordmusicfestival.co.uk soon.

Please continue to support local festivals and independent music venues, keep the live music scene thriving in the Forest of Dean.

Thank you to you all, we hope to see you soon.

Coleford Music Festival will return to the street of Coleford over the weekend of 10/11 July 2027 – save the date!

It is organised by a not for profit group in partnership with Coleford Town Council and  with the help of many passionate unpaid volunteers.

It is funded through some grants and sponsorship but we rely heavily on the generous donations and support of people like you to raise the money required to stage the Festival every year. We really need your help now and for future festivals.

You can help support the festival in the following ways:

Without your donations, our festival wouldn’t be possible. So, thank you, in advance for any help you can give!

The best free weekend of live music anywhere. Our little town does us proud evertime and it was great to have it back🎵🍻

Our first visit to the Coleford Music Festival, we found it advertised when visiting earlier this year but really you do keep a fabulous event a little hidden. An amazing range of music with all stages fairly close together so you can pop from one to another. Really great artists, very well run, a real credit to all those who must work amazingly hard to pull it off. We’ll definitely look out for next year’s date and add it to our diary. Coleford you are a lucky town, I wish our town had something half as amazing as this.
