Volunteers

Want to experience the festival from a whole new perspective, learn new skills, or dust off some old ones?

The weekend just couldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers, people with a range of different skills and abilities, who come together to support the festival.

We have a whole world of varied and interesting opportunities available for anyone who wants to be part of the action. In return for volunteering your time you’ll receive: Access to our volunteer hospitality area & the recognition, love and gratitude of a whole community!

ROLES REQUIRED

Build and Break Crew – Wednesday 5th, Thurs 6th, Friday 7th, Monday 10th.
Setting up fencing, assembling picnic benches, loading and unloading kit etc.
General Stewards – Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th
Helping to ensure the smooth running of the event. 
Vehicle marshalling, setting out benches, positioning bins, setting up gazebos etc.
Bucket Collectors – Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th
Extracting donations from the good people of Coleford to ensure the festival is a success
Stage Hands – Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th
Helping bands to load their kit in and getting it on and off the stages to ensure the festival runs to time.
Compere – St John Street – Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th
To introduce bands, promote sponsors and encourage donations.  To assist with loading/unloading as necessary.
Road Closure Marshalls – Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th
To control vehicle access in and out of the site, requesting marshals to assist with movements as necessary.
Arts and Craft Facilitators – Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th
To assist with the set up and running of children’s arts and craft activities during the afternoon.

We aim to create a positive environment that enables all volunteers to realise their full potential.
