Plans are well underway for this years Coleford Music Festival which will be held over two days in Coleford Town centre on 16th &17th July 2016.
Organisers are pleased to announce that after negotiations with Forest of Dean District Council & the police a new ten year licence is now in place which will go a long way to securing the future of the event.
“Coleford Music Festival is a wonderful weekend of music, culture and family-friendly entertainment. It is built upon the foundations of a community coming together to create an event which celebrates local talent and supports local businesses.”
said festival organiser Amanda Smith.
“But we still need to raise funds to keep the event free, pay for performers, workshops hire staging and equipment. We are asking anyone who has enjoyed the festival in the past to please donate to keep it going.”
People can support the festival by donating through the Go Fund Me page which is accessible from the festival website http://www.colefordmusicfestival.co.uk.
Donations can also be sent to Coleford Music Festival Donation,P O Box 4, Coleford, Glos GL16 8YH. ”
There are also opportunities for local businesses to sponsor the event and specially tailored sponsorship packages can be created to suit any local business. We would be very happy to discuss how working together can benefit both local business and support the festival.
If you would like to perform at the event or promote your local community group please also get in touch, or If you have an act or idea that you think would enrich or entertain then we would want to hear from you!
We love hearing from performers; choirs, dance troupes, artists, bands, magicians, poets, comedians… The opportunities to get involved are endless.
If you are a local trader & would like to be part of the festival market please get in touch too, it is not too late to book a trading pitch.
